'Corbetts'
Corbetts are between 2,500ft (762m) and 3,000ft (915m) with at least 500ft (152m) of reascent from all approaches, and in Scotland - 'Corbetts' are the same but anywhere. Applying these criteria to North & Mid Wales gives us ten mountains.

Wales has 14 'Corbetts', of which ten are in North & Mid Wales and four are in the Brecon Beacons.
'Corbett Tops'
What about the mountains of Corbett height that don't have the required 152m reascent from all approaches? All such mountains, as long as they have a drop of 30m or greater, are called Corbett Tops. The definition and terminology were created by TACit Press and applied to Scottish mountains, in order to neaten and extend the official SMC list of Corbetts. Corbett Tops are the whole group (everything with 30m or more of reascent), and Corbetts are the subset with drops over 152m. There are 25 Corbett Tops in the Brecon Beacons, of which the ten mountains above are also Corbetts and fifteen are just Corbett Tops. These fifteen non-Corbett Corbett Tops are shown in the next list. The Corbett column gives each Corbett Top's parent Corbett.
